Fans of Keeping Up Appearances will not be surprised to learn that the top-selling programme, shown in more than 60 countries, has brought more money into the BBC's coffers than any other production. Keeping Up Appearances ran from 1990 to 1995, and was one of the most popular 'Britcoms' - particularly popular in the US.
